A little about me
Hello, I'm Louise, the face behind Wicked Weddings & Events.
I'm a wedding planner, a natural organiser, a lover of all things creative and, perhaps most importantly, someone who genuinely cares about what I do and the people I do it for.
My journey into weddings began in 2017, and what started as a career quickly became something I couldn't imagine doing anything else. There's something incredibly special about being invited into such an important chapter of someone's life, getting to know their story and helping bring their vision to life.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working on weddings, from intimate celebrations to elaborate wedding weekends, across some of Scotland's most beautiful settings. From historic castles and country estates to rustic barns, coastal escapes and somewhere a little more unexpected, no two celebrations are ever the same, and that's exactly how I love it.
The person behind the planning
It's the little things.
If you were to ask me what I love most about my job, it probably wouldn't be the big grand moments, although I absolutely love those too! It's the little things. The details that might go unnoticed by everyone else, the plans coming together, the problem-solving behind the scenes and that feeling when everything falls perfectly into place.
I'm very much a behind-the-scenes kind of person. You'll usually find me with a clipboard, a never-ending list, a coconut water in hand and about ten things already being thought about before anyone else has even noticed they need doing!
I believe great planning is about so much more than keeping everything organised. It's about listening, understanding what matters to you, knowing when to take the lead and when to step back. It's about having someone in your corner who genuinely wants the very best for you.
I'll be your sounding board, your problem-solver, your biggest advocate and the person quietly making sure all those little details are taken care of.
My approach

I want you to feel that you can be completely yourselves. Your wedding should never feel like somebody else's idea of what it should be. It should reflect your personalities, your story and everything that makes your relationship uniquely yours.
I bring the organisation, experience, creativity and direction, but your vision will always be at the heart of it.
Whether we're planning an intimate celebration or an entire wedding weekend, my aim is always the same: to make the experience feel personal, considered and as effortless as possible, so you can be present, soak it all in and enjoy every moment.
Because long after the flowers have faded and the last glass has been raised, what matters most is how it all made you feel.
